SSR 2.5 results

Yesterday I had a victim, er friend, that let me practice on his car. There were some very bad swirls & scratches; it looks like I got all of the swirls out and about 70% of the scratches using SSR 2.5 & SSR 1 followed by AIO. My confidence with the PC really grew as I worked on his car. All I can so is that SSR works! :bow

We stopped with the AIO...it was about 7 PM when we finished and we were both pooped. He's going to put a coat of Megs #16 on after the rain from Frances blows through.

Good deal, it was a hot one in GA yesterday too!

It did get pretty warm out there! That's when Poorboy's really shines (no pun intended). I was working in sunlight most of the time; we tried moving the car around but with the cloud cover that got old pretty quick.

There were so many swirls that I used an orange Lake Country cutting pad...had to do the drivers side door & rear quarter panel with a white Lake Country polishing pad because my orange pad just got gunked up; it was black. Normally I would have tried the polishing pad first but I just thought an aggressive approach was needed due to the condition of the paint.

I wish we had taken pics before the car wash washed & clayed; you would not have thought it was the same car!
