Spring detail done!

PA DETAILER

DETAILED TODAY?
The crap weather finally cleared enough today to do what I wanted to do. Nobody likes to work in the sun, but made the best of it. Paint is in perfect shape, so a good wash with MEGS car wash plus. Then gave it a good foam wash. Did not know if it would fit in the garage, but alas it does. Pulled it in. Broke out my new bottle of BLACKFIRE SPRAY SEALANT and 2 new MF towels. Followed directions. Hit the first MF with a few spritzes and a few on the paint. Spread it out. And a final buff with the other MF. Are you kidding me? WOW! I wanted easy, but stellar results. THIS PRODUCT DELIVERED IN EVERY ASPECT. Paint looks amazing. Product was easy to use with no smearing or streaking. Best product of it`s kind I have used to date. Did 2 coats. Sorry about pics. It is in the garage, and that`s where it`s staying for now. Feel better now it`s got some protection!

Here is some pics. And one of the lighted Chevy emblem.

Mike,

Very nice. Was there any coating on previously? What do you expect the longevity to be?

I would expect durability of a couple months in PA, maybe less since it’s rainy season for the next few weeks. Not sure if PA Detailer is interested in testing longevity or you just plan on applying whenever going forward, but either way, enjoy!

Here are some shots I took after a wash this morning. Truck stayed cleaner all week due to the Blackfire sealant. Even after some rain. Looks better than the day I got it home!

How much would you say you used on the truck? Like 1 oz for each layer or less or even more?
