Spray Wax vs Liquid Wax vs Paste Wax

With some of the new and improved Spray waxes coming out, I'm not naming or picking on any particular products, is any of these type's of wax (Spray, Liquid or Paste) any better than each other.
 
Don't know if any are better than other's. I use all three. I only time I use a Spray Wax/Sealant is to refresh or after a wash. Liquid/Paste more of a traditional application, and I feel more protection.
 
I like spray waxes because it only adds 15 minutes to a wash , and the car is always protected and shiny. To me it a lot less work, and the looks speak for themselves.
 
Generally, spray waxes are used for "upkeep" and help refresh the wax job. The traditional paste/liquid wax tend to last longer but obviously require more time to apply, whereas spray waxes add an additional ten minutes to the end of the wash. I just did my winter detail with Collinite 845, but top it off with Meguiars Quik Wax weekly/bi-weekly after washes.
 
The introduction to OCW & the new OCW (and even AW) has begun to change my mind from conventional thinking. At heart, I'm still a paste wax guy, applying a layer or 2 & maintaining it with OCW or AW after ONR washes. As for liquid carnauba waxes, I've had the best experiences with CMW. (haven't used Collinite yet) Within the last year, I've found that OCW v2 to outlast most of the paste waxes in my arsenal when used as a stand alone lsp. Ease of use, look, protection & durability of OCW are starting to tilt my thinking in the spray wax direction.
 
That's nice to know BlkTac05. I tried OCW when it first came out, and did not care for it, it streaked alot, was told the temp was too cold. I wanted something easy/fast to apply in the winter months for touch up after a wash.

I think there's a huge difference between the original version of OCW and the new OCW formula. I think it's night & day. The new formula is a teriffic product. Couple that with OID, and you've got a great combo of products.
 
I think OCW holds up better than NXT 2.0 and I can apply it in about a third of the time and after every wash if I want to. So why bother with sealants, a good cleaning with clay and a cleaner wax a few times a year and maintain with a spray wax. That is what I will do for now on, until I notice something wrong with it.
 
What is OID? That does seem like a pretty easy process. I usually do Prime Acrylic, maintain with Quick Wash, Acrylic Glos, AJ Trigger. Another route I use is Dodo Not For Speed or P21S PCL, some kind of paste wax (Natty's, Dodo, Victoria Wax), maintain with a QD.

From my observations I'd tend to agree...OCW probably last longer than NXT and most liquids/pastes OTC. Same goes for DGAW. I see no reason to use any standard OTC paste or liquid wax or sealant over OCW, unless you are trying to save $$
 
I will soon have all three. I now have the Souveran Spray,and the Souveran Liquid w poly charge. I can tell the differenc between the 2. The liquid is more durable. I also think the shine has more depth too. I just ordered the Souveran Sizzling Shine from AG. There's a 20% special right now. I was told the Souveran is right up there with the Fusion. I'll have to see how good the paste is and post later.
