Spray Wax over sealant

Is it possible to put on a final spray wax coating of say, OCW or Mother's FX Spray, immediately over a polymer sealant, like EX, or will it "drown" the sealant?

well i'm new to all this but what i gather is yes u can put a wax over a sealant
my question is there a time period or right after sealing u can do the wax?

Not OCW as it has a polymer in it.

Both sprays have a polymer, but my question was whether they would drown existing, fresh sealant.

wait 24 hours....to let the sealant set up....if you need to use a QD after putting the sealant on...such as to remove hazing or streaks...use something like Mequiar's....or Mothers Showtime....the ones you mention OWC...and FX spray..are more on the line as a Sealant booster...meaning they contain a % of sealant which may hinder the setting up of the original u put on first...

12-24 hours after u put your sealant on then you may use FX or OWC..

If it were me I would do 2 coats of the sealant first ..a day apart...to ensure all areas covered...then do what you want....just do not use a cleaner wax..as you will strip off your prior work....

Great advice. Just so you know it works I've used OCW over ex on more than one occassion - looks good, just wait a day before the OCW.

From what I remember, most sealants require aerobic curing-exposure to the air.
By coating it with a spray wax, you are interrupting that curing, and, in essence, drowning the sealant. Yes, it may mix with the spray wax, but it won't be the same results as if you let the sealant dry for the 12-24 hours before applying the spray wax.
Of course, there are always the exceptions to the rules, and some companies say you can apply their wax right over their sealants without waiting.
I usually do only 1 LSP per "session" so I haven't actually experimented enough to have actual hands-on experience to say how noticeable the changes are.
