Spray/Quick Wax?

The express wax from 3D is pretty good stuff. It last about a week and great depth, shine and slickness. Its just doesn't last very long. Good for topping off a paste wax.

Express is applied/removed more like a typical wax...correct? I am looking for something more like Meg's UQW. These products are SO popular. Can't believe 3D doesnt have one!

There is a product like this in the making right now. Not for sure when it will be released though. Basically a surface booster for your existing wax/sealant.

Honestly I would never expect more than a week out of a typical spray wax because most are just boosters.

I dont expect much, as I only use it as a drying aid and a bit of a booster. However, MQW seemed to last about 5 weeks on my fiance's DD. This is one of my all time favorite products. Easy to use, good looks, conceals, and just plain works.

Would be nice to use while drying my car after a wash.

Yeah, that's my thought as well. My leaves-stuff-behind QDs are working fine for this, but they do drop off a bit appearance-wise by the time I do the next wash, especially if it rains/etc. and they don't do any concealing to speak of.

With durability like that would it be safe to classify UQW with Duragloss Aquawax, along the lines of a spray "sealant"?

I would think so Richard. I believe it is some sort of hybrid. Meg's doesnt suggest using it on its own, but I have. It works very well and seems to last fairly long on trim as well.

AW is a good product, but I prefer Meg's. AW can be a bit fussy at times. UQW is stupid easy. Plus its VERY easy to source.

OneQuickGT1- Eh, well...OK, when I start running low on my leaves-stuff-behind QDs I guess I'll have to weaken and try it. Maybe after the final jug of good ol' EF Clear Pearl. I've simply *gotta* use up this [stuff] I already have on-hand before I go trying something I'm gonna fall in love with ;)

Just used it tonight as I was drying while washing with ONR. VERY slick. I don't know...maybe it's just me! :) I'm a pretty big fan of Meg's. While I know they arent the best, most of their stuff works very well. I feel like UQW is one of their best products.

I think you'll like it...plus they have it in the detailer line. A gallon is under $30.

Ah, that's even better, didn't know that.

In the detailer line, it's called xpress synthetic spray wax. Same as the consumer line without the fancy scent. You can use it on a wet or dry car, which is a plus.

Thanks for the additional info. This one is on my list for when I finally get ready to restock. I'm actually looking forward to trying it, and I hardly ever get revved up about this stuff!
