Well....I have no idea what it is....it looks like a waterspot...except there's one big one and several small ones on my roof.

They look like they're bubbles in the clearcoat or something, its weird.

Maybe a picture will help:

i had that problem with a car I did a couple of weeks ago.

http://autopia.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=47999

It had it on the roof and another part I don't the name of on a car. From what I was told acid rain and no protection so it leaves a "frost" like image. aka oxidation.

Anyways I used Sonus SFX Polishes and Pads. Look at the thread above I posted and if you have any ?'s PM me or reply to this post.

Do you have a PC? What Polishes do you use? I know Meg's DACP works great with this problem.

MQ #7 liquid was the last polish I used, tommorow morning I'm going to head out with the Claybar to try to take care of those stupid spots unless anyone else has a better idea.

No PC or orbital buffer, I like using just my hands and MF.

I cant see the pic. First I'd try goofoff if it might be oil based, sap or tar? If it looks like a water spot try vinager, it will work better than clay. If that doesn't get it try AIO. If still no luck, your starting to look at it needing a polishing of some sort.

If the claybar doesn't do it, I wouldn't bother with the #7. It's nonabrasive and doesn't have any real chemical cleaners in it either. #7 is something you use after you get things perfect using other products.
