Spots after washing

I washed up the Scion yesterday and trying to get it a little more perfect. Anyway the Black Sand Pearl is great looking but takes patience to keep it right, anyway I notice some surface imperfections, maybe just water spots or some kind of goo that was there, not sure, what is the best or an acceptable way to tackle these? The paint is definitely not damaged but when you wipe with a QD it shows something. I go at the small scratches in the clear with Meg’s Scratch X, is it acceptable to tackle these marks with Scratch X, the car does not need to be polished or buffed.

If they are spots that are like goo like you said above, it might be the glue that is from the plastic when the vehicle is delivered to the dealership, sometimes these places show up later because dirt will begin stick to it, therefore making the spots of glue become more visible. If the spots move a little if you rub them with your finger then more than likely it is glue. Use some tar&wax remover and a rag to remove them.

There is also another type of spot that can occur these look like lines that are in the paint kind of giving the apperance of an uneven clear coat finish, like something melted to the paint. To remove these types of lines use a heat gun. Moisture and heat was trapped under the plastic during the time the vehicle had the plastic on it. The sun will over time iron out these spots, but to remove them in 15 minutes use a heat gun.

Another option is take it back to the dealer, more than likely because you are a customer they would probably be more than happy to help you get the problem resolved. Hopefully, they will have someone with some real experience in the clean up department.

If you had a picture it would help me.
