Spit Shining Natty's?

Has anyone ever tried spit shining Natty's? I've done it with #16 and it worked really well, and I was wondering if Natty's would work. I saw Accumulator's post about using a Cyclo with #16 to spit shine, and I was wondering if I could use Natty's and my PC on a low speed maybe? :)

I'm wondering in that procedure, as a substitute for that Griots spray wax, if something like Speed Bead, Megs Quik Wax, etc would also work as well

Diluted WAUD might make for an interesting "spit" in the spit shine, as well . . .

He he ,I like that :up

So just QD the finish then wax? Sounds good :up

Yup, if you do a search you'll see a full write-up. The Quik-Detailer spray bottle sprays a VERY fine mist which is ideal for this situation :up

Yeah, I've urged Megs to find a supplier to sell an industrial version of that sprayer head :D For a QD like Final Detal ( Last Touch now) I use a cooking oil sprayer.

That sprayer head on the Megs Quick Detailer is the best I have used period. :bow

I tried it by hand AND with the PC. Either way I could not tell a difference in appearance. The slickness was insane though. I remember when I did it with #16, there was a huge difference in clarity. That was on top of UPP. This time my car already had EX x2 and Natty's x2, so I don't think it can get any better :p

The area I spit shined constantly hazes up. There's nothing I can do to stop it....I've washed, S&W, QD, nothing helps. This week I'm stripping it all off and going back to AIO + UPP.

MattZ28 _ Ok, thanks, now we know one combo that *doesn't* work. I suspect it's the Quick Detailer, but it's just a guess.

I was looking at the spit-shine thread last night...I think I found them by searching on "spit" and "pink wax" but I'm not sure.

Given all that, is there consensus that this method can ONLY be done with the Griots Speed Shine? (I suspect other QDs comparable to the Quik Detailer will give similar issues)

I took a look and saw David B mention that pink wax. Interesting. I wonderif it can produce a shine as good as/better than Souveran alone or via spit shining. I sure hope it can, a hell of a lot cheaper :up

I suspect that the distilled water will be better for the "layer building" aspect of the spit-shine technique than the Speed Shine was. That was just what I had on hand and decided to use.
