I've been wanting to do a more thorough detail, and since today was finally nice, I started taking off all of the old wax and sealant to start fresh.
I've been reading about the "spit shine" method, and it sounds interesting, but will it really make much of a difference to the appearance of a white car?
From what I understand, it's supposed to increase the depth of the shine. But from everything I've found on my car, white in general doesn't seem to have as much depth as the darker colors, so I'm not sure how effective it would be.
So is it worth the extra time and effort to try out spit shining, or should I just stick with my normal sealant (x2), and wax (x2)?
I am planning on trying out the sample of FX-100 I got from Finish Kare, but I'm not sure if that will be enough to make any real differnce to the final look.
Thanks in advance for any help!
