Souvran user's .....

I have a question IMO I have both Souvran and Surluster and they perform exactly the same. Why is Surluster never a topic when carnuba is discussed? Just wondering.

I did a test this summer I did half my wifes van with Souvran and 1/2 with Surluster.

They both went on very easy and came off very easy with a excellent finish. Both were over ZPC so the finish was equal. Surluster is actually cheaper.



I also have a Souvran sizzling shine kit from CMA thats collecting dust.

Bodyowrk shampoo never used

Bodywork paint cleanser 98% left

Souvran 95% left

Crystal mist 98% left

For one I think Surluster is much harder to find.



Second, many carnaubas claim to be better than Souveran, but I have yet to find one that does outperform. Natty's Blue is good but still not there imho.
 
Don't know what Surluster is? But I think some people hype Souveran up a bit, I love it and think it's an excellent wax. However we did Souveran topping RMG and Natty's Blue topping RMG on a Lemans Blue M5 and black M5 this past summer (two friends cars). There was basically no difference between the combos on each car, Souveran had a slight edge in applying removing but Natty's Blue is still so easy to use, Souveran seem a tad "warmer" while NB seemed a tad wetter/crisper.. Still a top notch wax though :)



As long as you have good prep, anything will look good.

I realize that amost all carnuba's are not as good as Souvran, but I really feel that Surluster is just as good. I am going by looks because I don't care about durability.
 
went to their site. online ordering is by phone. maybe if they sold it via the internet, shopping cart, etc.. might help more people try it.
 
I think that Souveran gets over hyped just like Zaino and doesn’t always meet people’s expectations which I think hurts both products. I can see a big difference between a sealant and wax but the difference between different wax’s and the difference between different sealant are growing smaller and smaller. I can see a glow with RMG/PS that I don’t see with other waxes on black cars only. Red cars I prefer Trade Secrets over PS. I’m not a big Natty Blue fan, PS21 is ok and 16 is so so.
