Souveran users ... is PS worth the $$$?

I'm certainly not afraid to spend $$$ when it comes to detailing supplies, but I've never made the leap to purchased PS at $69 a jar. I'm a big fan of carnuabas and have been pleased with $14.95 S100 for along time.

Is the difference from S100 vs PS worth the money?

I haven't tried it yet, but you are going to get mixed answers. For some, the price difference is worth, for others it is not. There should be a difference though, but its up to you to decide if its worth it to buy for YOU. Kind of like a Ferrari over a Corvette - for some the much more expensive Ferrari is worth it to purchase, while some are satisfied with the Corvette because it is a better value to them. Maybe a bad analogy but it works, I guess. I personally hope to purchase the Souveran soon to try for myself.

Well, I'm very much a Souveran fan. Most people, including myself, make the comparison that products like S100, Trade Secret, Natty's and several other fine carnauba's give 90 to 95% the look of Souveran on dark paints. So, you have to decide if the extra money might be worth the 5 to 10% increase that you might achieve.

Having said that, I would recommend that every detailing enthusiast try at least one jar of Souveran. There is really something special about Souveran on dark colored paints.

Souveran Paste

Got and love it!

Use it quite often to top over WG on my Red Lexus SC430.

Dark colors really do stand out. Very wet looking. Moderate dust attraction, but hey, it's carnuba...

QD with Clearkote QS or Megs FD.

No detail kit is complete w/o it especially if you have a dark finish or just red/black. Seen what it does to black too! Really nice.

Go get yourself at least on can of it.

My take is that Souveran gives dark cars a very wet look that last a few weeks. Then again so does S100. If money is not an object buy a jar and decide for yourself.

As with any carnuba, it will attract dust regardless which product you use. But hey, for the shine and look, it's worth it.

I love my PS. Halfway through my second jar in 10 months on my black bimmer. If anyone is dying to try it, I'll trade someone a sample of my PS for a Natty's sample!?!?!?!?

I love Souvran, happen'd on some group buys a few years back, way too expensive, when I run out
I will be using Natty's Wax and S100, if Mullet wax is still around i will stay with that too

I love my souveran too,as Boss said everyone should give it a try :) . You can get it cheaper at autogeek at around $51 after the 15% discount, and if your order is more than $75 shipping is free, that's d best deal for anyone in the states I guess.

While $51 is the best price I have seen, the 15% discount will get you S100 for $12.70 and Natty's for $12.75, or Signature for $25.50. All 3 waxes for the same as 1 can of PS.
