Souveran on red

A friend of mine came over this morning on his new Honda. A few weeks ago we detailed the bike using Klasse AIO and Klasse SG. We were going to add another coat of SG until I discovered he had been using a quick detailer containing a carnuba. This gave me the excuse to try my recently purchased jar of Pinnacle Souveran on his red paint.

This friend has autopian potential. He is all fired up about the raves he got after we applied the Klasse, and has visited Autopia and is buying microfiber clothes and spends his spare time browsing detailing supplies in auto parts stores. He is now going to buy a gallon of Final Inspection. I'm pleased that he has such a high sickness quotient. He keeps repeating the montra " I detail for today!"

I did the detail a few weeks ago. All I did today was polish out a scratach created resulting from laying the bike down, then a QD, and finally the Souveran. Took about 20 minutes. It is difficult to get to the paint and you have to let the exhaust pipes cool down.

Superb job. :xyxthumbs

I just received my Souveran from AutoGeek today on schedule never mind a little hurricane...I can't wait to try it on some darker colors. What a great smell as well.

Thanks for the kind remarks. I had a little spoare time this afternoon so I applied a third coat of Souveran to my car.

Very nice! That red looks a mile deep on that bike. Your car looks really good too, that hood shot really makes the paint look deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!

They get anywhere from $50-$70(discounts and coupons included)for SOUVERN WAX and in my opinion WORTH every penny! Crazy a auto wax worth that much but what a shine

Thanks, Carl for posting the photos of my Honda VTX 1800S. They do look great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for introducing me to the art of detailing!

(FYI - When I did lay the bike down sustained road rash on left hip and leg, also left elbow. Always where protective clothing. The bike came through with sctatches on the light bar chrome, foot board, clutch handle, and rear turn signal. All items can be replaced or repaired over time.)
