Southern California Fires

Patrick, you ok today?

I have one sister in T.O and one in San Diego..What a mess !!

Gary, Im good! Sunday and Monday were terrible. Air quality was severe as one would expect with smoke and blowing ash (50mph). Teusday slightly better, and today, just a hint of fires with the shadows casting an orange tint. The moon last night was a trip! And I have had power for a full day now!!

My Mom has a good friend who lives in Rancho Bernado and they've had to evacuate. Police won't let them back either but so far, their answering machine at home is still picking up.

I've been noticing lately that the skyline at dusk has been a very orangy color in the southwest. It has been for a while now, and I've been starting to wonder if it is because of all the smoke in the sky from the fires. If so, it's hard to fathom how major this is if I can see the effects all the way in Wisconsin.

I talked to a friend of mine that lives in El Cajon yesterday. He says the fires have come within 3 miles of his home and has sent me some amazing pictures. He's visiting back here for a few days and hopes his home is still there when he gets back. Hopefully the rain helps out.
