and nothing seems to fix my scuffed up clear plastic that is on my HU read-out.... In fact it seems to only be getting worse regardless of how or what I apply it with. These scuffs can only be seen in direct sunlight and at a certain angle (like from my driver's seat!), but they are a horrific eyesore... What else can I try to buff out these hairline scuffs?

Should I try Novus? or simply consult a professional detailer at this point?

I think PlastX is designed for outer plastics since it has abrasives. Things that get oxidized or foggy like headlights. I would think using it on interior plastic would just scratch it up more, since you can't really remove the layer of plastic with abrasives like a clear coat.

But then doesnt Novus #2 have abrasives in it? How can one polish interior plastic then? I heard that PlastX was very safe and a lot of people on this board have reported success.

Best product I have used is Renovo. Saw it on a Ferrari spyder (yeah plastic in that car can you believe it).

I think autogeek.net and openroadmotoring.com sell it. Try and get the bigger bottle the teeny one will go quickly.
