Sonus Leather Care Bundle

I find the conditioner to really not have much of an odor, at least not one that lingers at all, unlike many other leather products. Give it a few minutes to dry (I think it says to let it sit for 30 minutes before sitting).

Make sure your not mxing them up. I thought the cleaner was the stinky one.. I'll have to check. But I was very inpressed with the cleaning abliity and liked the way it was on my fathers truck. I don't have leather so i rather not waste it on my Baja.

Interesting replies. I tried it and found it so stinky that I gave up on it. One of the few products I've tried that I never wanted to use again. Perhaps mine was bad -- or my tolerance for such things is lower, but after smelling it I didn't want to put it anywhere near my car.

I found the cleaner to be good and not have any unpleasant odor but the CONDITIONER to be super stinky. I only did one seat and it stunk up the whole vehicle.

It did go away, but it didn't leave that new leather smell like the Mercedes Benz Leather Conditioner I've used in the past (and I hear Zanio Z-10 does as well).

I think I've tried almost all of the leather conditioners out there -- certainly all the major players. The Zaino one had a strong artificial leather smell. It was so strong that my hands smelled like old boots for a couple of days afterwards. Not as good as it sounds!

The one I tried last (and currently like the best) is Griot's leather conditioner. It dried to a very nice matte finish and had a nice leather smell, but nowhere near as strong smelling as the Zaino one.

The Sonus one I'll never use again. I don't know what the smelly chemical is in that thing, but it can't be good for seats.

I have found that both Sonus products have a fairly strong odor straight out of the bottle, but that the smell dissipates very quickly. I have never had any lingering odors with the Sonus leather cleaner or conditioner. I use the Sonus combo and the Leather Master combo because I really like the factory-matte finish that both conditioners leave - not to mention the great protection properties as well. I sent an email a while back to Autopia Car Care about the Sonus leather combo, and they told me that the Sonus Leather Conditioner is made for them by Leather Master, but that the Leather Master Leather Soft Cleaner's odor gave some people headaches, so they went with a different formula. For the price, I haven't found anything better than the Sonus combo (even though they are in the smaller 8 oz. bottles now) for my tastes in leather care. Unless you want something that smells like leather, and will act like an air freshener of sorts, I would encourage you to give it another try :2thumbs:

Do you have a web site for leather master? I tried to go to leathermaster.com and that wasn't it :o.

It is good to know what is in the Sonus Leather Conditioner bottle. I suspected that a lot of the stuff was re-branded, which I think is a good thing. Do you know the source for any of the other Sonus products?

Yeah...that's something all together different. :nervous2:

The corporate site for Leather Master is http://www.uniters.com/

I don't know much about the other Sonus products. I only brought up the Sonus Leather Conditioner / Leather Master similarity because the Sonus ends up being a much better deal...not trying to ressurect the debate about what makes a "product" or anything like that!

There are several top-notch leather products that others have suggested. Let us know what you settle on. :D
