Sometimes I hate being so picky

I just bought a new 2008 STi and recently had a clear bra put on. I had asked the guy if he wanted me to wash it before I brought it in, and he said no, I'll take care of that. I thought fine, it's been cold and miserable, so I haven't had a chance to look closely at the car, let alone detail it. Anyway, there must have been some protective shipping film residue left on the paint and he put the clear bra right over it. Ugh :wall It's not really bad, but I know it's there and it bugs the heck out me.

Make sure the paint is properly polished first too. I hate it when I get a car with swirls under the film.

As for swirls, the paint wasn't perfect when it went on, but it only has 900 miles on it so swirling was minimal. I'd like to ask him to re-do it, but they're such small spots, and he's a nice guy and he did a great job on it otherwise. I'll mention it in passing (he still has to do my headlights) and if he offers to re-do it then fine. With my luck, I'd press the issue and it'll end up with some other imperfection.
