Something close to Z-8

I really don't think you will be disappointed. Looks great on my cars.(chrome wheels too). And so easy to use.

It's on my list, keep hearing good stuff about it!!!

I love Z8...I always top my zaino'ed cars with this stuff. In my experience, I categorize Z8 more as a gloss/appearance-enhancing product as opposed to a true LSP. Others may differ, but it doesn't really leave any substantial protection on its own. I use DG AW quite frequently and I am sure that you've read many past threads that say that AW and Z8 are the same thing. However, I find AW to be a "less concentrated" version of Z8 - I can't really prove it, but the look is not as glossy and the post-cure slickness is less. I have used AW in place of Z8 with regards to the Zaino system and have not had any compatibility issues.

I am also a frequent user of CG V7 and would categorize it as another gloss-enhancing product. It is actually my 1st choice for post-wash appearance boosting for any sealant-based protection. I have used it on its own to test durability and found it very lacking in this department - appreciable durability and slickness was gone after the first rain storm or car wash.

In your situation (wipe off AIO residue while applying some paint protection at the same time), I would recommend the aforementioned OCW, Werkstatt Acrylic Jett:Trigger or Carnauba Jett (I am partial to the look of Carnauba Jett), or Ultima Paint Guard Plus. Of course, prep is the key to looking great, but these spray LSP's definitely leave behind quite a bit more protection behind when compared to Z8/AW/V7.

Agree Z-8, V7, and AW are not very good in the durability department. Having said this they are excellant gloss enhancers! Z-8 rate a 10, V7 rate a 9, and AW rate a 8 ..... JMHO
