Something broke on my PC, anyone know what this is?

Hello,



I was using my PC, there was some strange noise and soemthing came spnning out. I've attached a photo. Does anyone recognise what it is and where it came from?

Photo did not come through. You may have lost a screw to the counter weight. Take off the backing plate and see if the weight is still attached by two screws.

Not sure I've seen that either. Here is their part list and diagram. I don't see anything there that looks like it either. Perhaps it is a piece of the field. I'd take it to an authorized repair center for an estimate. If you got it at Meguiar's just get an RMA and send it back for a free replacement.

If the repair cost is excessive you can find these at Lowes for under $100.



My PC is 10 years old and on average I've used it on one or two cars a week for the past 10 years. They are normally very rugged.
