Someone hire me part time, NY NJ Area

Hi guys. I am an IT Professional and make good money but i really enjoy detailing and working on cars more than anything else. In about 2-3 years time my ultimate goal is to move to florida and possibly open up my own shop. I"ve been detailing my own and my family's cars for years but want to work with a pro. Anyone in the NY/NJ area willing to hire me?, maybe as an apprentice? You know i'm not doing it for the money, I'm doing it for the experience and joy of detailing. I am not looking for anyone at this moment, but if you ever want to come and detail and hang out you are more then welcome to.

NY Detailer, that sounds good to me. I'd love to come around sometimes on weekends and hang with you and see what I can learn. I can't wait til the weather gets warmer. I know i'm gonna have a fun summer detailing my friends cars, i'm starting to develop a reputation, haha. Where in Staten Island are you? I'm in Jersey City, i guess easiest way for me to get over there is to cross Bayone Bridge. Also, I emailed Einzett for some samples of 1Z MWP, i can't wait. I'm so excited, its like xmas morning all over again. haha.
 
Learn from NYD and do everything by yourself on the side for cash. I'm sure NYD could teach you the quickest way to get the desired shine with the proper products.



It'll save you alot of time and more importantly; money.
 
i will try your suggestion joed. i'll pm nyd one day and see when is a good time for him. i wouldn't want to get in the way of his work but even if i only watch i'm sure i'd pick up. thanks.
