Man that looks great. I wish the mechanic that made my friend's GN run like the wind handn't left it parked underneath a tree. I did what I could to help it, but I'm thinking a new paint job might be the answer.

Very nice job......

One of my all time favorite fun cars. For those of you who have never had a ride in a real nice GN, I feel sorry for you.....These cars were top dogs in their day with a few mods. Old school fun and still affordable......

Amazing work! I absolutely LOVE 78-87 G-Bodies. Some of the most under appreciated cars around.

Agree'd completely but I am biased:woot: ! That is one sharp looking car there. I love it and I want one so bad along with many others.

I used to love detailing and driving those GN's. There were always lots of areas where the factory didn't apply enough paint and were brown and people used to burn through all the time. I love the transformation you did. Shame someone let it get that bad. It looks like a really well done GNX clone.

Yeah, I was impressed too. I saw the GNX badge and did a check for the wheels, fender vents and wheel well arches. Darn sharp clone from the exterior.

+1 on one of my favorite cars. I mulled getting an 86/87 GN or T-type for a while. But in the end I figured it was a one trick pony for the drag strip and I needed a car to campaign in autocross. But what a great one trick pony it is!

I used to go to the strip in Noble, OK and watch the annual Buick Ford shootout. Generally a bunch of Mustangs and GNs duking it out. So fun to hear those hairdryers spool up.

The funniest part to me was the Mustangs that would be trailered in and tinkered on under the hood for a while, crack off an 11 second run and then put back on the trailer. Meanwhile the Grand Nationals would be driven to the strip, whip out the laptop and alter the chip settings and crack off an 11 second run, back out with the laptop and then drive home.

And great job on the paint!
