Some tar on the paint

On my back bumper right behind the rear wheel some tar it looks like was kicked up onto the paint and during the wash I tried removing it but all that seemed to do was streak the tar making it more noticable...It won't come out with just Z7 so I don't know what else to try that won't harm the paint...

I'm a huge fan of the (don't laugh at me) turtle wax bug and tar remover in the yellow can. It has worked amazingly well on bugs, tar, sap, and other icky stuff that gets on the car. It works fast without harming the paint. I don't know that a wax topper would survive it, but I'm pretty sure that any sealants under the wax would be safe. I know the paint would be safe. Its good stuff. I've seen it just about everywhere I can buy my stuff locally. KMart even has it.

I'm not a huge fan ;) but I still use this stuff too. You can find it at places other than Canadian Tire which has stopped selling the canned liquid version for some reason. Lordco has it I think.
