Mothers clay bar
Aerospace cleaner
Goo gone

comments? should i return any of these (before i open them). dont mind my messy room

All good products for different things and why not try different products out especially when you can find them locally.

I have one of those clay bars and i like it .im gonna get a bigger one tomorrow from my distributor its a different brand so i will let you know what i think of it if you like

yea, i bought the goo gone especially for this weird stuff that was on my aunty's car. Hows the 303 cleaner thing?

The 303 works well enough, but the aggitation is key. If you just spray and blot/extract, it won't give you as good results. Make sure you don't get it on paint. It tends to leave a residue or marking on it. I tried it on some metal next to the carpet I was working on and it left marks in the exact pattern of the spray. Wouldn't come off after rinsing repeatedly. Did polish off, though. I should mention that it doesn't say for use on metals on the bottle.
Also, I've read that the 303 aerospace cleaner is the same stuff, just more concentrated, so you can dillute it 30 to 1 and get the carpet cleaner. I haven't tried this one yet, but this bottle does warn not to let product dry on surface.

Some other good point on the 303 spot cleaner were the nozzle had a foam option, chemical is biodegradeable, non-toxic, and non-flammable.
One bad thing is the tube is a bit short. You can't get the last bit out if you're sqirting down at an angle (I would expect this to be the most common direction for a carpet cleaner).
Overall, a good product.

oh, i was wondering, what should i use to agitate the 303? should i use a brush, or some kind of towel? and after agitating it, should i just leave it out to dry against the wall or sometihng?

According to the bottle (which you already have) you can use either a medium bristle brush or a wet cloth. I used a brush. If you choose a brush, be sure its bristles are not too stiff, and you shouldn't need to really work the 303. Stiff bristles and/or excessive pressure when aggitating can cause carpets to fray.
I also used an exractor (used on carpets in a building). If you don't have an extractor, you should blot it up with a cloth, then rinse and dry area. (You need to get rid of whatever caused the stain. It doesn't just disappear. Unless you're Billy Mays and using Oxiclean....then everything will just vanish!! And without scrubbing , apparently!)
If you're going to use it on floor mats, you could likely use the garden hose and spray them off as a rinse. That should get all the residue out, and even help prevent rings around the spots from forming.

Disclaimer:Take the car mats out of the car before spraying them with the hose!!

GooGone smells similar IMO to PrepSol so if youre looking for something to purchase in bulk then you can try it out.303 is pretty good also as a spot cleaner. And as far as the claybar goes, like someone said it is pretty small. But hey at least you can always get them at Long's.

EDIT* I was thinking about Goof Off instead of Goo Gone.My bad:-p

hahahaha. anyways, yes i do drink diet pepsi, but i wouldnt wanna add any stains or anything. what if the carpets dont have any stains, but are just genereally dirty?

Same basic principle, just going over a large area, not a concentrated spot. Also, you wouldn't use as much product per square inch. Still aggitate, though.
