Some quick newbie questions

Hi,

I'm new here and to detailing. I am going to pick up my Black Infiniti G37 this evening. I have made sure they will not wash or detail my car.

Through reading alot on this forum here is what I'm going with:



UDM

sheep skin mitt

Zaino- ZFX, Z2 pro, Z5 pro,Z6, Z8, ZCS, and clay bar

Natty’s Paste Wax Blue

4 MF waffle weave large towels

2 all purpose MF towels

2 MF small detailing towels

2 MF glass towels

Aerospace 303

Lexol leather conditioner

Meguiar's Gold Classâ„¢ Car Wash that is a few years old or a new bottle of Sonax Gloss Shampoo. which should I use?





Does anyone know if the UDM pad colors are the same as the PCs?



Do I need to pre wash the MF towels before i use them?



Is there any prep needed for the sheep skin wash mitt? (hate to have fluff all over the car)

Seems to me you got everything, on the mitt you might want to wash it first and try it on another car first, then on the car wash i like Danase wash but go ahead and use the Sonax Gloss Shampoo, the pads should be the same for the UDM , and you should wash your MF towels first and take off the tags too. One Question which pads do you have? and don't forget pic's of your new ride too...........Happy Detailing!

You will eventually want some more MF's so you are not doing laundry every time you detail too. Grab some grey vrooms from target for paint and the yellow bulk pack from costco for interior, engine, wheel wells, etc.



Also get something for cleaning your pads. autogeek carries some stuff from detailers pride for washing MF's and pads that i love.



If you have the UDM, get some Z AIO too.
