Some help with business plan

Creating a business plan for detailing in one of my courses, wondering if you guys had any useful advice. Some stuff I'm looking for is legal and insurance considerations, and a management team section, though I'm the only employee (job descriptions, qualifications etc etc for running the whole company).

For insurance, usually a garagekeepers type liability policy is appropriate. These types of policies cover you while a customer's car is in your posession. If you have a fixed location, you would need insurance on the building and its possesions. If you are the only employee, explain that in the management section. Map out that you will be doing the technical and business aspects of the business. As far as legal, check the local laws in your area regarding detail establishments and car washes. Check for issues regarding discharging pollutants into storm and sewer systems. Also mention the requirements for business licensing in your area.

Go to your local college or uninversity. Find a student (the school will help). There are people who do ths for a living and there are plenty of students who do it for a living. You could get it done for a few hundred as apposed to a few thousand. They will find all the details needed and will make it profosinal. I know its a cost but i think its worth it.
