Some ground balls this week...

Clean Dean

Keep it clean !!!
Dont you wish they were all like these...

This past week, I had the pleasure of detailing some very nice sports car for a few of my regular customers. All of these cars are garaged, and detailed at least 4 times a year by your's truly, so describing the process for each is relatively easy.

Handwash and claybar
3M Finnesse It, Menzerna FP, or Megs # 83 depending on the amount of light hand wash scratches (rotary).
Sealed with Megs #21 or #20 on lighter finishes.
Topped with S100.

The Porsche is a regular customers car, and is in simply showroom condition. Although the HRE wheels are a bit of a pain to clean inside, they look awesome. The 05 Mustang GT Convertible has an awesome sounding aftermarket Corsa exhaust, and Foose chrome wheel. The car was dropped 2” and this wheel tire package really fills the fender wells out nicely (the way ford should) :(

Both the 06 Caddie XLR and the 06 GT 500 are bone stock.

Enjoy…

Fun cars to work and great job...the Porsche rims are a bit much for me but they look good

The rest of the cars are beautiful

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of HRE's or the chrome wheels on the GT, but the vehicles do look great. Very nice work on all of them. Cadillac's red always seems a bit muted in pictures, but I'm sure that's not the case in person with that vehicle. The GT 500's paint looks dripping wet, especially the hood shots. Why can't I ever find these vehicles to work on? Again, very nice work.

OH MY GOD.. I love that Shelby!

They all look great, but did I mention that... I love that Shelby!

Did I mention that... I LOVE THAT SHELBY! :d

Seriously CD, I've watched your work over the last few years, and as always, it is "impeccable"... both the easy jobs, and the hard one.

Great work!:bigups :bigups

:rockon

What is your process on the HRE's?!?!?!?!? I have a couple clients with these and they have always been an absolute pain! They need EVERYDAY CARE. ha

Amazing work as usual. IMO the GT500 needs to be lowered ~2" as well. One of my customers has one and a full suspension overhaul is on his list of things to do.
