Some cool stuff at Target

GlossyTundra

Tractor Detailer
I went to target tonight with the GF, and as usual, she and I walk in the grocery section, only if I can go to the Automotive section. I wanted to pick up some towels for some up coming John Deere tractors(pics later), and I saw some new Vroom Towels. "Premium Microfiber". 12 for 9.99. They look and feel almost exactly the same as my new Cobra All-purpose towels that were like $20.

Also, meg's gold class wash with meg's wool wash mit and supreme shine towel is 9.99 too. Really great deal on gold class, and a free nice wash mit to boot. :bounce

The GF saw a wool wash mit on a pole and she thought it would be good to use on the higher portions of the tractors this weekend to prevent swirls and marring. I am teaching her well. :bigups

Thought yall might like to know

the 12/9.99 are good All purpose towels. The 8/9.99 are pretty nice, a little larger, and have a thicker pile. The 2/4.99 gray towels are VERY nice, quite plush, decent size, and I would not hesitate to use them on paint. I own all of these towels, and they all have a role they fill very well at a very affordable price.

I will have complete pics of it Sat. or Sun. Yall shoulda seen what I had been working on this week that I did not get pics of. A white farm truck covered in cow manure, A 2003 Volvo Tractor Trailer(buff, polish, wax), and a 1995 Chevrolet Dump Truck(wax everything including dump bed)

I just picked up 2 sets of the 2-packs from Target in gray, but they were only 3.99 for each 2 pack. The only other ones they had for 4.99 were MF drying towels (of which they had none left).

Are the gray ones I got the same ones in question? They are "microfiber detailing cloths" (not the chamois-looking ones), and seem pretty thick for 2.00 each.

Thanks!

I grabbed a pack of the gray ones as well and gave them a try and was very pleased with them for QD'ing.

chris, yes, you got the right ones. I went from typing that they were $4/2, to wanting to be more accurate and include the $.99, but forgot to change the 4 to a 3, and ended up not being so accurate after all

I saw the car wash and the mit package. I almost picked one up but then I looked at my cart and decided I better just keep on walking.. I'll go back for it

Hehe, I gotcha.

I washed them last night and compared them to my new Excel Elites. Im impressed by the Vrooms compared to the Elites, maybe not quite as plush, but for the price (and the fact that I can get them locally) they were definitely worth it. I wouldnt hesitate to use them on my paint either, just gonna do a CD test first to make sure.
