Some cool current and up and coming classic car wet sanding projects

I don't have much of a social life either...but when you enjoy what you do and making

real progress on a daily basis, it's worth it
. I hope...and being too busy in these tough

times says a lot and we should be grateful.

Very true! ;)

I detail on the side because I love it, not because it's something I have to do. The money is just an added bonus! :D

Some more pics of the convertible...

Last minute mechanical work kept me from finishing off the complete detail but I was able to at least get it wet sanded and buffed. It was late and after 13hrs of buffing I was tired and not up to the task of taking pictures. I snapped a few and some may be slightly blurry as my tri-pod was MIA.

Hopefully on the next car I can better document the work but this one was on a tight schedule.

Freakin HOT!!!

Can ya find out what materials they're using (primers, sealers, base and clear)?

And whatever brand they're using, they just might be interested in: http://www.southernpolyurethanes.com/

A quick plug for an outstanding company that makes seriously good paint

for restoration and customs. :)

Thanks!

I'll ask my old man and I'll have him check out the link. I know the paint is all PPG and they are using their most expensive clear. ;)

Edit: He did say they use some HOK paints too.
