Having done the "full monty" (#83, #9, FP, AIO & SG) on my ride this weekend, I have a few spatter marks of DACP on the textured plasitic mouldings around the rear window, side steps, wiper cowl and back bumper. I have tried a terry towel wetted with 50/50 alcohol & water and rubbed the heck out of 'em, but they reappear - almost as if the alcohol render them invisible. What have you used to get rid if them?

Also, some DACP appears on paint in a couple of obscure crevices. I hit one of them with a toothbrush and had some success, but ended up introducing "new" scratches in the vicinity - hopefully only in the first layer of AIO/SG. Again, what have you used to "dissolve" the polishing products?

Thanks

There was an interesting thread a while back about using pink erasers to remove wax spots from moulding. You may want to do a search and read that thread. Otherwise, I have used Poorboys Trim restorer and also Clearkotes Rubber & Vinyl Treatment.

Its not the AIO or SG, its the DACP & SMR2. But I'll give the eraser thing a try this evening....

Sounds like you AOI & SG on the trim too? .. You might have to try and remove the AIO/SG from the trim first then try the eraser. The eraser won't work through the sealant. I think Alcohol will remove the sealant. Do that first then the eraser.
