...As for the SG, if I only drive the car in nice weather (spring/summer) and no rain, how long do you think I should be good for? I don't pressure was the car, just a nice microfiber and some megs gold soap, with the shower setting on the hose. I would think only 2 applications per year are necessary.

I still have my bottle of Zaino quick detail, any other brands you'd recommend?

Chris

Twice a year ought to do you. I believe it really takes about 3 layers of SG to get the best look.

Get some Sonus Acrylic Spritz for a QD and Sonus Acrylic Glanz for a booster after washing.

Menzerna or Sonus Spritz

......... the car dyno'd 799rwhp in TX at 32psi with more let in it. Best 1/4 to date is a 10.1@138mph on a smaller turbo. So I have show and go...........

I saw the first pic of your car earlier and thought it looked pretty nice with the SG, then I'm looking at it again and spot the M/T's on the rear...... what a sleeper you've got there! Nice job, I'm impressed :xyxthumbs

Steve, I think you're right, I'll probably give it 3 coats ( sounds like we're all pretty obsessed with our cars :D

Thanks for the suggestions on the sprays, I've read a bunch about most of the ones mentioned.

White95Max, I'm in Bloomingdale, IL.

Thank you John. It definitely catches people by surprise when you light the tires up on the highway at 70+mph

Is Bloomingdale near Chicago? It sounds familiar. (I used to live in Naperville many years ago)

Would you be interested in attending an Autopia Meet sometime this spring?

I'm about 25min west of the city, and about 15-20 northeast of Naperville, off of 355 and Lake St.

I would most definitely be up for an Autopia meet! Just let me know when and where.

Forget the paint, look at that engine :D.

Seriously though, your paint looks amazing. Good luck on breaking into single digits.

I used the Sonus DAS pads.

Thanks again to everyone else on the compliments :D Sometimes I think I work more under that hood then I do on the car. well.......maybe not ;)

Thanks...

I felt great about my new to me '95 SC400 with 40,000 miles on it until I saw this. What a killjoy... ;) :p

Just kidding. The car looks incredible. I thought I was tough poopie because I was saving up for an custom exhaust. Congrads man :xyxthumbs

Any current Supras, or is this the only 2JZ in the stable?

wow, your car is just amazing. i am looking at it again and i am just in awe! do you have any front end shots?

Vernon

Well, this is my only 2JZ right now, however I used to have a single turbo'd mkiv as well. This one is enough for me to handle :)

I like the '97 side skirts and front end. I think the later model trim looks way better than most body kits availiable for our cars.
