Nice Lotus!! Some really nice look 986's.

Question on the PDR. Did the PDR guy drill a hole in the door or did he go throught the door latch to remove dent? Intersting tool to hold the door open too.

Eric

Thanks for the pics, JB.

Tell me more about the B&M install. Was it as easy as it looks? Have you driven one? Looks pretty cool.

B&M is great. I have had mine installed for about a year now and love it. The overwhelming opinion on the Boxster Board is its a must do mod.

Its about a 1 hr job.....I can even send you a video of an install that a guy in Chicago made.

In case anyone's wondering, that's Mike holding the Orbital in that first pic.

JB, how did you setup the dent removal? You can PM me if you like. A few of us are setting up a similar event for Mercedes next month and dent removal sounds interesting. TIA

I had some paint work done by AutoRecon recently and they offered to host the day (and provide catering!). They do a lot of dent repair work, so they were on hand to fix our cars. They were also doing paint chip work. It was very convenient for a lot of the Boxster folks...they got a lot of things fixed there and then.

I have run 2 previous detailing days at my house and had a dent guy attend. All you need to do is get 3-4 people who want dents removed and these guys are more than happy to attend.

I get people to register for my detailing days and ask them on the registration form if they want dent work done. That way I have a good idea of how much work is on offer. I just hand the list to the dent guy on the day and they go from there.

Very Cool, thanks for the info!

BTW will you be showing the Boxster at the Newport Beach German Sports Car Show in October? I can't figure out if it's a concours or just a show. I'm itching to show again but the local MBCA Chapter only hosts one concours/year and I couldn't make it to the last one.:(
