I was using Car Brite Wash and Wax AB but I ran out and havent had time to stop by my supplier to get more. I buy 5 gallons for about $60. The problem is that I think the soap may actually remove some wax. I have just been getting some meguires soap (purple) from kregan and it works really good. So where can I buy good soap in bulk (5 gallons) cause I go through the meguiers within 2 weeks.

Thanks

The 4 Star Car Wash Concentrate that Dwayne sells here is also $60 for 5 gallons. I can't speak to it's performance, so I don't know if it would also strip some carnauba. I'm sure some others here have tried it, and can give you some feedback.

If you have a Costco store nearby, you can sometimes find Meguiar's Gold Class for around $10 a gallon............. just pick up a few.

The Target stores carry Meguiar's Gold Class for $10 a gallon every day. Sale price is usually $7.50 or $7.99. Right now it is on sale at our Target for $7.99 a gallon.

Yep, same place I buy mine!

It seems that anytime we wash a car it takes some of the protection off. Even drying the car wipes a little of the wax away too.

My favorite right now is High Temp's Wash and Wax. I like the way it leaves the water beading when I am rinsing it off. I also find it to be around 60 bucks for 5 gallons and its pretty concentrated. I use it on cars Im just washing and not detiling or waxing. It gives the paint a little more gloss since Im not waxing it for the customer.

Another one I like is Top Of The Line's Bubble Bath shampoo. It is cherry scented and the bubbles are pretty rich. I never had a single complaint about either of these products. I got them at www.TopOfTheLine.com

The Meguiars Gold Class is ok too. Ive used it but its not quite as concentrated as some of the professional soaps available. I used to be a huge One Grand fan and they make a powdered concentrate that is actually decent. I would mix it up and let it sit for a few seconds to make sure it was all disolved and I found it to be very rich with bubbles and cleaning ability yet not harmfull to any finish or surface.

Best regards,
John

I have tried many differant soaps/ shampoos form differant companies. All of them seem to clean a little of the protection off each time they were used. Some more than others. This use to bother me a lot, then I remembered, they are cleaners. On my personal toys that I wash often, I use only water on the paint. (lots of it.) I refer to this as a "Porsche wash". Porsche suggest this way for washing in its owners manual. I only use soap on the body if the weather has been really bad and the body is really dirty. By doing it this way, I find that the protection stays on longer.

Just me.:)

I went to Costco and got Turtle Wax Car Soap for around $5.50 for 1 1/4 gallons! I hope it works good:D I also went to my supplier today and got some different soaps to try out.
