orsmith said:thanks for the info...i was also reading somewhere where they said when it comes to rinsing off your car to take the nozzle off and use the free flow of water. You won't get any water spots and they said it dries faster...what's your opinion on that?
orsmith said:i just bought meg's gold class soap...i'm reading the directions and it says 4 cap fulls and 1 gallon of water. OK....i have a yukon xl...i don't think 1 gallon
of water will wash my whole truck....can you add more? what do you experts do?
orsmith said:jared....after i rinse off...then give it a good dry the first time...you said to go back with some quick detailer and get the rest. i didn't know you could use the quick detailer with water on the car
JaredPointer said:After you "flood" most of the water off the vehicle, you can dry it with a microfiber towel and detail spray. Just spray the panel with the DS and wipe down the panel. Personally, I like to think of the DS as adding a nice shine to the vehicle while aiding in preventing marring as I dry. I didn't come up with the idea or anything, just modified it to best fit my needs. I think it works well, and my vehicle always looks better if I dry with the DS versus without.
