I've been asked that a few times, and I can finally show you. Here is my new 2006 C6 Coupe. I've waited a loooooong time for a Vette, and this is everything I ever wanted. Its a great color called Daytona Sunset. Depending on how the light hits it, it shows a different shade. It's got a dark orange base with gold metallic, it's stunning in person. It was built on Feb 20th, and I got it a few days ago. I didnt let the dealer prep it, I just did a quick coat of OCW. Sorry for so many pics, but you know how it feels to be a proud papa.....

Mach 1 vs. C6. No brainer.



I'm jealous. It's one of those cars I can't afford, but it's so close as far as attainability goes that it sucks to think about. Congrats.
 
Craigster- Wow, that's really sharp :eek: I thought I was 'vette-immune after selling mine, but yours is just great. That color would be a pleasure to detail. Hope you have a lot of fun with it.
 
i love c6's and if I could afford one thats the color I would get. What the little button looking thing right before the rear wheel well?

Awesome ride! I love my C5, but those C6s sure are hot! That "button" is actually a tiny GM badge. Every 06 and newer GM car has one somewhere on it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that is a GM emblem. All GM cars now come with a GM emblem despite what brand they are.

I've never been a vette fan, but the new C6s are straight up awesome. That is a beautiful car and cool color. I look forward to seeing more pictures of it with new detailing products. ;)

I detail lots of Corvette's where I work and I'm lucky enough to have a dealer plate and get to drive anything on the lot. Any time there is a C6 in stock my plate goes right on it :woohoo: .



What did you get for options?
 
I got a chance to drive a C6 that same color, 6 speed, intake, longtubes, catback, and cam. That was one of the most fun drives ive ever had.



The guy that had it used to have a supercharged 02 mustang, sold that and got an 03 cobra, putting down 475+ hp to the wheels, then traded the vette in on an F150, all in three years
