Sorry for the generalized question, I've been out of the detailing world for over a year or so - been using Zaino all that time and I am ready to change to something just as good, but easier to apply? Hit me

Scottwax said:I use about 70% Optimum products now, the other 30% are Meguiars, 3D, Clearkote, Leather Masters.
Optimum Opti-Seal and Optimum Car Wax are pretty much the easiest to apply products out there.
armoredsaint said:wasn't there some controversy about it being the same product or similarities?
Scottwax said:No, Optimum makes all their own stuff other than pads, MF towels and the wash pads. All their polishes, cleaners, sealants, waxes, etc are made at their plant in Memphis.
The product lines with the similarities are Zaino and Duragloss. I can't tell any difference between their comparable products. The leather conditioners smell exactly the same.

But stuff for correction has come a long way, so if you still struggle to correct marring there are products that can make that a piece of cake.
And the new coatings *do* have a lot going for them, at least for some applications.
Otherwise, gee...most of what I use has been around for years, so maybe I'm just the wrong guy for this topic
