I kinda always wanted to try his IUDJ, but I didn`t like the price. Well he released a new line, and the new version of IUDJ is THREE HUNDRED BUCKS for a gallon. From the best I can tell this is basically like most rinseless products. Now I`m not talking how well it works, I`ve never used it so I don`t know. I mean it`s purpose of use. He just really pushes the fact you can use as a clay lube, a detail spray and some other things. Which I can do with the Wolfgang UBER Waterless Wash I have. I`m not trying to put him down, I know people are very opinionated on him as a person and how they feel about his products. As someone who owned plenty of Polish Angel stuff, I was still wowed when I saw the price of the gallon. I think I need to stop detailing and learn how to make detailing products lol.

Is it the “one” line your talking about? I see on his Facebook but not website. Where did you find price?

Yes, that`s it. It`s for sale on his web site, It`s like 7 or 8 different products in the line up, I didn`t look at the pricing for rest. He also says "as low as 53 cents a use" on a YT video he made. I`m trying to think of a situation where using product from a $300 one will only cost you .53. Maybe he meant if you spray 1 spray on a window or something lol. On his old IUDJ it says 2.5oz for everything besides rinseless, but here it doesn`t mention that. I have no idea what the dilution is. But I know he says to RTU for waterless, which has to be a typo, but it`s there. 300 a gallon, and RTU for waterless? Yeah, let me go ahead and charge my clients $150 for a simple wash lol. I would think on such an expensive product that he`s touting can do so many things, he`d have a better write up on the web site. HOW can he be recommending using it straight for waterless? Rinseless is 1oz per gallon, while I`m no rocket scientist, waterless should be like 2-3oz per gallon or something. Which would still make this the most expensive waterless out there. (I do mostly waterless) He also says 4oz per gallon to make a clay lube, which is odd. Wolfgang UBER says 1oz for rinseless, 1oz for clay.

Again, I`m not trying to knock him. Well actually I guess I am as I`m kind of digging into his product. But when I got into detailing in 2014 I learned a ton from his videos. Weather you like him or not, he`s a very accomplished detailer and has a lot of good knowledge he shares. And on his web site you have to go to the store to find it. If you Google it, for some odd reason it doesn`t come up, just the original line. And his web site IMHO needs to be updated, unless I`m mistaken it looks identical to how it was in 2014. It`s just kinda.... dated.

Some people believe if something costs a lot it is better (not me) and sometimes it might be
A friend of mine cat got pregnant, had kittens
He tried to give them away on Craigslist
no takers
Put them back on Craigslist for $10 a piece and sold all of them
Go figure

Yikes, is that right....$300/gallon for IUDJ?!? Hold on...[goes to Garry`s site]...

I`m still seeing the original version for ~$160. Hope he doesn`t discontinue that one, and I kinda doubt that he will once he sees how well the $300 version sells.

I’ve used the original IUDJ and his forever rindless. Both in qd dilutions for a drying aid. I like them and forever does seem to have some decent protection. Looks good too. The IUDJ is great as well.

I feel his products are pricey, but this new line is ridiculous. Haven’t used it and doubt I will at the prices. Garry seems like a decent guy. A bit much for me, but helpful when needed. Some of his fans are just way too much for me.

The new IUDJ One is supposed to essentially be everything in one, rinseless and spray coating and everything in-between. Most of his things are out of my range unless there`s a nice sale, though I typically buy a few gallons of his Magnum Motorcycle Juice whenever there is a sale. It`s a great rinseless and interior detailer.

I like rinseless washes but $300 a gallon sounds outrageous. I’ll stick with 914 and ECH2O, both work great and are relatively cheap. I go through a ton of ECH2O because I use it for everything. If it was $300 a gallon I could buy other pre-made products to do the job.

Maybe it`s just me but I`m struggling to see the value in having the protection mixed in at that price point? I don`t really rinseless wash anymore but when I did it took me all of two seconds to spray on some sealant as I was drying. I almost feel this is like dumping a bottle of IGL premier into gallon of rinseless concentrate when you can stretch the bottle further and protect better if you just take a second to spray it.

I know other products like Ech2o have some protection qualities but I never thought anyone took them seriously. As an aside I liked the original IUJD when I used it.

ECH2O has a tiny bit of SiO2 in it. I doubt it leaves much protection. I add a couple of ounces of an SiO2 spray to my ECH2O for a bit of added protection and gloss. It’s still way cheaper than buying a bottle of EliXir for $19.99. I use it as a drying aid, interior detailer, regular detailer. I probably go through 32 ounces every 2 weeks. Saves me a good bit of money I figure.

rlmccarty -- would you mind sharing the dilutions you use for ECH2O for various tasks?
I pretty much use the same dilution for all tasks, 2 oz ECH2O, 3 oz whatever SiO2 spray, 31 oz distilled water. Some people use 2 oz SiO2 spray which was Merlin’s original formula. I just like it better with 3 oz. You can use it on pretty much everything. I have not tried it on infotainment screens as it will leave a film. It works on leather, at least the new coated leather and the fake MB tech type stuff. It leaves a little gloss on interior plastics, some people like gloss and some want it natural, so try it on an inconspicuous spot before you clean the dash with it.

Thanks. I`ve been using it 15:1 with distilled water. Will add a few ounces of Reload to the bottle to see how I like it.

To a certain point, I do think protection in some products is a gimmick. To be fair to Gary, everything I`ve tried has lived up to it`s claims (never have bought the real expensive stuff). What he makes is good, but there are others I would put in the same conversation. I at one point had north of 2 dozen different rinseless washes alone just trying to find the best. I keep his Magnum Motorcycle Juice, Duragloss, Gloss Shop Sublime and McKees wash and wax to alternate through depending on the job/my mood at the time. I`ll get a few weeks to a months worth of protection out of them (except the sublime doesn`t have anything in it for protection). Where it`s really worth it is on the interior for me. Not having to clean and dress the interior is worth the time savings for me to buy and use the Magnum Motorcycle Juice routinely despite it`s elevated cost compared to the others.
