Whose yer DADDY!??!?!?!?!
Hey guys so I am planning on asking my girlfriend to marry me. This is the girl from the thread where I detailed her Integra trying to win her back you can read it herehttp://www.detailcity.org/forums/the-detailing-showcase/12556-heres-detail-the-integra.html
Apparently detailing is the ultimate aphrodisiac and a couple months after the detail we started dating again. Now it has been almost a year and our relationship is going great.
I know this is the girl for me and I want to be with her for the rest of my life. I got the stone from my grandmothers ring and had it placed in a new setting so the ring is all taken care of.
However I have NO IDEA how to ask her, so my question is basically for you married folks out there. I am looking for a couple of ideas on how to ask her. The whole ring in the glass of champagne seems kind of cheesy I'm looking for something classy AND romantic. Thoughts?
I was thinking I would do it in Solvang the weekend after next as we are going up there to celebrate her birthday. (Don't worry I got her a gift too, so I am not cheating her out of a present by giving her the ring near her birthday). In case you never heard of Solvang it is a town in Southern California that has a lot of wineries and restaurants and such, it was the town in the movie Sideways. I want to ask her while we are there because I think she will be very relaxed and ready for a romantic proposal.
So there it is I would love some of your guys's input.
