So I just put a coat of Reje-X on the Audi R8 today (pics with Nikon D90) *NO 56K!*

Today was a busy day.... from 12 midnight to 3:30 AM, I cleaned the R8 and put a layer of Reje-X on it, and it looked stunning (I did this because my S5 was supposed to hit the dealership on Monday, so I wanted to take some pics of it next to the R8, but my dealer informed me that the boat has been on a customs hold for the past week, which would have been nice to know since every day I called my dealer since last Monday, he kept saying its on a truck and on its way, and will be here by Monday, ugh!). That morning, I went to best buy to pick up a Nikon D90 and then went to the dealer to see when my S5 is coming, so when I came home, the car was kinda dusty/dirty, which really sucked because I wanted to take some pics of the R8 in the original Reje-X coat... oh well. I used a microfiber towel to do my best to remove the dust and dirt that I could without spending too much time on it, and then I took pics of the R8 with the D90. Anyways, here you go:

Thanks... Once my Audi S5 comes in, I am going to wax the R8, S5, Benz S550 AMG, my friends Maserati Grand Tourismo and my other friends Aston Vantage, and then put them all around the circle for a nice photoshoot. I also got a camera/camcorder car mount, so I am going go get a remote for the D90 and take some cool driving pics or vids.
 
You have quite a collection of fine autos. There's a lot to keeping a car pristine. The search button can be your best friend.

Must be nice!! lol. Where in NY you live? Im in Suffolk County. Car looks hot.

Audi has really stepped up their cars this year and I am very impressed with everything that they build now.
 
No, I live in Westchester County, just north of NYC.



I also made a youtube vid with my Nikon D90 and a manforodo car mount... I think it came out kinda nice. I wasn't driving around (just in my driveway) because I don't know how well I can trust the car mount, especially since there was a lot of dew which could cause the suction cup to move and then fall off, and I didn't want to break my D90 the day I got it, lol... anyways, here is the vid:

Very nice setup you've got there! Did you say in my Viper post that you've got residence in Pittsburgh as well?

Lol the house is taking away from the car, if that is possible. What a beautiful car, love the colors, great pics, can not wait to see the S5 when you get it.
 
I use an old Nikon D70S and I still love it. Your D90 takes awesome shots. Might be time to upgrade!!! Upgrading to an R8 ain't a bad idea, either!

Yeah, I go to Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh, so I am there from Sept to May, but I took a simester off due to health issues.

Well that's no good...sorry to hear that. I get over to Pittsburgh quite often for work.
