So how would rate these products/combo?

I don't know if this will be a help- and probably shouldn't be because this is an extreme case but this is OHC with a LC orange cutting pad and rotary at 1200ish RPMs:

I'm still looking for the pictures of the SSR2.5 but I think they are at home where I won't be there until this weekend. At this point, try it and if it doesn't work, then either keep going or the swirls are just too deep to remove without sacraficing too much clearcoat.
 
Well I searched for SSR2.5, and I think it should do the job with the PC. If it doesn't work I will upgrade to the OHC.



Ive seen some pretty amazing work with SSR2.5 and the PC.
 
A lot depends on the hardness of the paint. OP or Meguiars #80 removes pretty much anything on my car's soft paint but won't really make a dent in Audi's clear without a cutting pad and even then it is slow go.



Just fyi, with OP and a burgandy Meguiars cutting pad, I was able to remove swirls from an Audi TT.



2.5 is a pretty good swirl remover, probably pretty close to OC and DACP.
