well my cell phone is my business phone and everytime I brake my phone it costs me big time.... I miss out on a lot of calls during the time it takes me to get my phone replaced. I'm not intentionally abusive with my phones either.... just constantly getting in and out of cars or crouching down to clean... the phones just seem to constantly be dropped one way or another. so I got fed up with braking the cheap phones tmobile and cingular offer and switched to a Motorola i560 w/Nextel for my carrier. the phone is indestructable and the service is even better. i was just curious if anyone else goes through phones frequently? i'm sure i'm not the only one here.

I am on my 3rd phone in 8 months. I just am a sucker for new models. I use PocketPC phones and tend to buy the one before the latest one off of eBay. I currently have the Samsung i700. Kinda big, but I was used to carrying a Dell x50v and a v60 for a long time so I love the space savings and having everything in one place.

I recently switched to the blackberry, I forget which model. It makes things much easier for mobile guys like me. When a customer asks you, "Whats you schedule like for next week?" and you can respond because you don't have your schedule in front of you, you seem unprofessional.

I just upgrade every 2 years, never had to replace a cell phone due to breakage. I keep mine in my pocket. The face plate isn't pretty but it keeps me from dropping it.

I have had a Motorola Star Tac with Sprint for ohh maybe 8 years. It was the sturdiest most reliable phone I have ever had. I recently got rid of it though for a Samsung AH900. It is basically a RAZR clone but, it is much sturdier than the RAZR and I like the interface much better. The wife has a RAZR with Cingular. I expect the AH900 to last as long as the Motorola did, at least I hope it will :D It seems pretty sturdy...
