Snow Removal

After being totally bitten by the detailing bug... I find myself worrying about the effects of brushing snow off of the vehicles in the winter.

Both cars received the Klasse AIO and 3x Klasse SG just before it got too cold to do so.

My question is - do any of you have any hints on how to remove snow from your vehicle with a brush - without creating a ton of scratches?

:scared

We have had more snow this month than the entire winter of 2001/2002...and it isn't even winter yet! :shocked

I read an article in the MetroWest Daily News where the reporter interviewed with the DPW (Department of Public Works) Commissioners in the area about their snow removal budgets.

The Assistant Commissioner of my community stated that "the City is looking to save money on snow removal...we will be adding more salt to the sand/salt mix early in the storm to help keep plowing expenses down." Most of the other commissioners echoed her statement.

Things to not bode well for Autopians in Eastern Massachusetts this year.... :shocked

edited for spelling (hey, I was in a hurry!)

I used my fathers broom that was lying around in the garage. The britsols on this thing were really hard and durable and would more than likely scratch the **** out of any piant. What I did was cover it with this foam we had lying around and then taped on a terry cloth towel to it. It works fine now.

If you can use a car cover that would be great I have a black car so it isn't an option for me.
