SMR and SEPC?

I have decided to take the plunge and try out some S100 in place of Zaino on my silver VW. My paint is in pretty good shape, maybe a couple minor swirls. The GTI is due for a claying and polish anyway. Do I need to SMR and SEPC before I lay the S100 down? Will using both of these prodcuts yield the best result or should I just use SEPC and go straight to the S100? Any suggestions? Thanks! :up

If your going to use both do them in this order.

1. SMR

2. GEPC

3. S100

Otherwise, you can use either GEPC or SMR before the S100. If you have swirls, and want the best result, I'd probably use both products before you get to S100.

What making you abandon Z?

I like Z a lot, but there are a couple things. First, I can only really appreciate the Zaino effect on the car at Sunrise, early morning or Susnset, late day. That is when Zaino really pops. Most other times the car just looks really clean. And I don't really spend a lot of time with my car at those points in the day.....

Second, I can buy the S100 stuff locally where I would have to oder the Z or meet a Z rep about 20-30 minutes away and there is an inherent problem with schedules.

I am hoping that S100 might give my silver a littler softer shine with a little wetter look that I can appreciate throughout the day. I'm giving up durability but hey....so be it. I had 2 coats of Z5 and 2 coats of Z2 last me a year ;) Now I just have to set aside the time to make the switch.
