While some may disagree, I don't think you can go wrong with a Chevy fullsize with the Vortec V8 in it. :werd:

Those are by far my favorite trucks, but I'm having trouble finding a good one around here.

I'll sell you one, but might make for a purrrrdy good drive. :chuckle:



This might not be of interest or applicable, but we have someone rinse off our lot vehicles @ $2.25 per. It might make an easy side line business, as it should be done in the morning or evening. It should also be easy to sell the contract, later on.

You won't get flamed by me. My brother had one of those generation Rams and he had 2 transmissions installed under warranty.

Why don’t you just find a good truck and work out of the back of it? This is how I started.



I used a 55gal poly drum on its side for my water tank. If you stick to working at your customer’s homes then you don't need to worry about the Generator. Just a decent Pressure Washer.



Don’t buy a Dodge. Nothing but Crap.
 
Older Dodge trucks are not something i would buy either.



The newer ones have a different tranny cooler design, maybe that was the problem with the old ones, dunno.
 
Sorry to hear that Zane. That seemed like it would or could have worked out very nicely for you. I think Ron has a good suggestion. Just work out of the back of a truck.
 
I have been searching for a good work/daily driver truck.



I could certainly utilize it for the detailing business (especially since I make a 250 mile round-trip once month to detail).



It would also be a valuable asset for my personal doings.



I will continue to look for a truck (whether I'm detailing or not), and if something mobile just happens to work out, then I'll run with it.
