SM Arnold Wool Pads for cheap. Anyone used them?

I was at Harbor Freight tools yesterday and was looking at their automotive section to pick up some wheel covers. As I was browsing, I noticed that they had SM Arnold Wool pads for $6.99 7 1/2". Thats considerably cheap since wool goes 2-3x as much. But at $6.99 and a notable brand, I was tempted to buy some. I was wondering if anyone experienced SM Anrold's wool pads? Are they any good with the quality? Heres a link from HF website.

Any input would be great! Thanks.

I would think that pad would be fine for the first step in a heavy compounding job to be followed by finer polishing steps. Another perfect use is probably heavy compounding of fiberglass/gelcoat oxidation.

Since they're putting their name on the pad it's probably good. The have uniformly good products - they, don't sell anything they know is junk.

Buff pads is a tough business, only the good survive.

SM Arnold has been around a long time. I have some of their foam pads and they are great. I'd expect their wool pads to be excellent as well.

Thanks guys for the input!

Quality is one of the most important things to look for when it comes to pads. I was really in doubt considering, Harbor Freight is a "dollar-store" for tools and was surprised to see a detailing brand name in there. (no insult)
