Skip Z-1 and go straight to Z-2?

Does applying z-1 make that much of a difference for making z-2 stick better? Does the combo add more to the looks? I polished the car, but I'm thinking about skipping the z-1 step and going straight to z-2.

If it is your first time applying Zaino, you should go ahead and apply Z1. Doesn't take that long and you don't remove it. Back when I used Z1, I thought it did make a difference in gloss and durability, and slickness. Applying Z2 by itself will work, but the bond may not be as strong to the paint, i.e. lesser durability, and gloss may not be as good as it possibly can be. Plus, I think Z1 notched up the slickness level quite a bit.

Does not matter Z-2 or Z-5 pro use Z-1 before applying it for first time just apply it thinly all it has to do is touch the surface for it to do its job apply Z-1 thinly very thinly.

I found that using Z-1 every four months helped out and one you have the Zaino on the Z-1 goes on more evenly and thinly.

Or buy the ZFX mix it up to apply three coats at a time. Thats what i always did when using Zaino.

I was also thinking along those lines. ZFX seems like a more practical way to go than Z1, but I really don't know. I just use ZFX.

the nice thing about ZFX is the time savings over a Z1 application. Z2pro will stick without Z1 or ZFX but it won't be optimal. ZFX acts to help form a more solid crosslinking action.
