How much do you pay for your service? whats the easiest way to get it setup in my car using my stock Altima head unit? Whats a good price for the equipment?

I bought the wife Sirius for her birthday in 2004. Sirius had a special and I managed to get the receiver and car kit for free and I pay about $130/yr for programming. I have an Audiovox PNP2 receiver. I bought a mount that attaches it near the A/C controls. It plays via an FM modulator on the 88.x channels.

The wife loves it. She hates commercials and talk radio, so it was perfect for her. It's also nice not having to hunt for channels when you drive outside the range of local channels. It made the drive down here much nicer.

I think Sirius had a special last week with a receiver and car kit for $60 or so. You then pay $12.95/mo for programming.

I have had sirius for about 2 years now. I recieved a free tuner with the purchase of a radio from crutchfield. At first I bought the yearly package just to make sure that I would like it and I recieved 3 months free. when my subscription ran out, I purchased the lifetime package @ $499.99. If I had to do over again, I would purchase the portable version that way I could move it from car to car.

I love mine, I have it hooked up in my truck. I dont have the home docking base, but i always have mine on when im in the car or next to my car. Mine is like a secondary unit on the billing so its only like 7 bucks a month or somthing like that. Never had a cut out or anything excect sometimes when im in the bank drive through or somthing. Some times even in my garage it works, so go figure on that one eh.
