Bought this recently at local Can Tire store, glad to see a mf mit finally available, ive yet to use it, passed cd test:up anyone else buy this? its white, price is around $12 cnd

Hey!

I just looked at them last weekend! I wonder if they would work for drying the vehicle??

Next time you are in Crappy Tire, think about picking up some Autosol Chrome/metal polish. It is great stuff and CT offers it at a decent price!

im guessing you could use it to dry or even buff? as for the autosol i dont have much use for a chrome metal polish, looks like you do though with that nice truck

Hey Thanks 4DR!!

I will go tomorrow and look at the mitt again. I am also going to Zellars as I hear that they have Turtle Wax MF towels; one member(Brian from Vancouver) on here says that they are a great towel.

Cheers!

Tim

yes zellers has the turtle was mf towels, cheap like $2 each, i have 3 of em, also get your 303 protectant there as well.

Hey 4DR!

Sorry, Zellars stores in the Okanagan Valley (BC) are all out of Turtle Wax MF's...I bought them all!!:up :D They were $2.99 each, nice and plush. They passed the CD test as well. So I picked up 19 of them in total from the various stores.

I usually buy my 303 products from a store here in BC called Lordco; I get jobber pricing which is quite a bit cheaper than full retail!! Moreover, they are the only ones in my area that has both 3M PI-III and Meg's BSP series of products!!

How's the weather out there??

Cheers!!

Heheh, I know the feeling when you go around to all the locations you can and clean them out of something. :D Glad you like them!

Tim, do you have any mail-order MFs from the US you can compare these to? Just curious. :)

Hi Brian,

None so far from US mail order. I have 12 Meg's ( I really like them unlike many Autopians:nixweiss ), 9 of the Walmart ( Autoshine), 10 of the 3M Scotch brand from Costco( I really like those as well, and they pass the CD test!!:up ) and now 19 TW. To be very honest, although the Meg's are not plush or have a tall pile, to me, they sure seem to remove residue easier than the others. Also, no scratches at all!! The Wally World MF's are OK, not as nice as the Meg's. The 3M are really good as well. I would rate it just behind the Meg's. I have not tried the TW MF's yet but I will really soon!:xyxthumbs

So far, I rate them in the following order from best to worse: Meg, 3M, Autoshine.

As for TW...:nixweiss I think that they will be close to the top of the list if the CD test and the feel count for anything.

Cheers

Tim

Which store did you check JL? I thought 2hotford lives in the interior somewhere?

Oh yeah, I didn't clean out all the Zellers this year! :D

ill have to check out the Zellers stores soon, back to the MF Simoniz mit, what are your thoughts on using this to buff as well as wash?? i have Big Blue for dry, and meg ultimate wipe to buff as well as pakshak, think i may try to use this mf mit to buff??:nixweiss

For buffing I'd be more inclined to use the $7 blue MF mitt, since it's like a folded towel. I'm tempted to get this for cleaning glass.

JL9000, try other stores like Royal City or something.
