OFF TOPIC

The colour of the bulb changes as the Kelvin temperature changes. 3000K being Yellow and lets stop at 8,000k being blue on the spectrum. As the colour changes, the bulb 'appears' to brighter to the human eye, but in reality, the higher kelvin you go, the worst usable light output you receive.

I've gone through my, blue coloured bulbs; 8000k HIDs in stock housing stages. Its so0o0o much nicer to have a cut-off line w/ projectors.

Heres what my retrofits look like on my 04 Honda Accord

I'm just glad my Suby Legacy came stock with projectors. They rock! :D You don't need hids if you have them.

I believe the 07 Camries also have some type of projector. Not HIDs, but they use projectors with whatever type of headlight they use.

It does but because those projectors(halogen) are not designed for HID use, it still throws a lot of light into random directions causing glare. I'm not saying ALL halogen projectors doing that as I've seen pictures of cutoff lines from halogen projectors with hid kits and some looked really good. But most of the cars that come with halogen stock projectors don't offer the option of HID.

Ahh I see. Well then I suppose perhaps it is to give a "luxury" look to regular halogen lighting?

Whatever the case, I think it does work to give a bit of "higher end" type lighting without going the full HID route. I've been in one of those newer 07 Camry's with halogen projectors. It might not be HID, but it still looked pretty cool, and had a pretty sharp cutoff which was respectful of other drivers.

From what I remember. I believe the Camry's projectors + hid kit was not bad. Cutoff had minimal flaring. I really like the looks of those! If I didn't have my heart set on an R32, I'd consider it.
