Here are some shots I took today with the new camera...I did not dress the wheel wells or tires yet. I also have Z-2 Pro on the alloy wheels:

Yep Z-8 will keep this baby looking fine. I used Z-6 before the shot also which added some nice slickness. Also note that I used ZFX on this application. When I spray the car with water, it runs off remarkably fast!

Here was my process...starting last weekend:

1. Zaino Z-7 wash

2. Sonus Block claying

3. Z-PC with Lake Country finishing pad

4. Z-7 wash briefly

5. Z-2 Pro & ZFX - first layer

6. Second layer of same

7. Z-8 Grand Finale

8. Brief wash and Z-6 before these pics to remove some rain from thunderstorm

9. Z-16 on tires after the pics...

I would have used Z-6 between layers but I did not have any. I have some now and I will do that before the 3rd layer.

The pics really don't do it justice. The car is just glistening in my driveway.

By way of comparsion here is a hood shot of reflections using a Nikon F100 (Pro ED glass 28-70 f2.8 SilentWave AF) with Fuji Provia 100F slide film that has been scanned:

Gotta love Z2-Pro... and Z8... and Z6... and Z(whatever)! Excellent products!

That vehicle looks awesome! Nice work!

What?!? No Poorboy's?!? :grinno:

Thanks everyone. I probably have a total of six hours of process on the car.

I'm using Super Slick & Suds to wash the car when I don't do the Z-7 wash.

Great work. The reflectivity Zaino provides is very impressive. I also really like the PBs SS&S. It's a really great car wash and I love the smell. Good smelling products just make detailing that much more enjoyable.

Thanks guys!

I've been careful to never let this car visit a car wash. It's been hand washed for two years and has never seen anything but premium microfiber so I have very little marring. It's a daily driver so I have a few small stone chips but fewer than I had on my previous Lexus - a 97 ES.

I put a third layer of Z-2 Pro on the car today since we had sunny weather and 65 degrees...I did a Z-6 wipedown before the Z-2Pro/ZFX combo. These end of day shots show the wetness a bit better than the earlier pics:
