New CLK 500 in Brilliant Silver. I used AIO and P21S (1 coat). If I put more coats oof P21S will I get a deeper shine or if not what else can I use to get a deeper shine. It looks great but Im not sure if its as good as it could be.

I asked this before but lost the thread..so , thanks again. :bow

Did you follow up the AIO with the SG? I think that would make the difference for you in both shine and protection...they're designed to go hand-in-hand. I have a silver C230K :)

No Sir...it wasnt part of the kit I got.

Ah-ha! Okay, I think you may have missed a vital step. While AIO will clean the paint and prep it very well, the magic behind the Klasse twins application I think would lie in the Sealant Guard. The p21S will provide some degree of protection, but over time the wax will disappear and you'll be left with just the AIO. You should reapply P21s every 4 weeks or so, depending on how often you wash the car. My recommendation? Spring for the SG and do a dawn wash to get rid of the existing wax. You want the surface of the paint to be as clean as possible before applying the SG. You'll notice the shine will get deeper, and topping the SG wit P21s will get you a deep shine that will last a long time!

Nebraska99- While I too always use SG after AIO, it's just possible that the AIO+P21S look simply isn't what you're after. It's hard to say, being as it's such a subjective topic, but *IMO* P21S isn't the "deepest" look out there. It IS quite reflective, but there may be other products that give more perceived depth on silver. *I* think that BFII, PUPP, and Souveran (and maybe 3M showcar paste wax) give more depth than P21S.

Although it's quite "low maintenance", silver is a tricky color when it comes to getting exactly the look *YOU* like (we have five silver vehicles; they all look different). Sometimes it takes a little experimenting with different products before you find what *YOU* are after on your particular silver paint. FWIW, when I had a silver Benz ('88 SEC) I used Autoglym's Super Resin Polish topped with Souveran (summer) or Meg's #16 (winter).

Nebraska99, I have more Klasse SG than I need this year. Help me remember when we get together at Brad's next month, and I'll bring you enough SG to get you into the winter. You REALLY want to get a good sealant onto your paint before the winter sets in! (I bought the Klasse twins for my darker-colored cars, but have been too wrapped up in the white Jag to try it yet.)

And ... I don't know why he sold that kit with AIO but no SG. :(
