Silver 07 Camry.. what to use?

My Wife just got a new 07 Titanium Silver Metalic Camry.I know I dont Like Silver cars either, But this is an extremly brite silver wih a lot of flake in the paint.I have never owned a silver car before.Anyone got any good combonations for silver? Thanks

I would also say s100 if you go the carnauba route,

or Zaino if you go the sealant route. :)

Good luck! Those new Camrys don't look too hard to detail!

I've been using AIO+UPP with excellent results. My silver car is due for a detail in a few weeks and am thinking about trying AIO/FK2180/PW or Natty's.

Good luck with finding your combination choice.

Don't forget that the FK 425 is really just a QD product to maintain your work.

For FK, I'd go the 2180 topped with Pink Wax.

I had a bright silver car for about 4 years and I tried the Klasse twins (w/multiple layers of SG) also topped with P21S and I also tried AIO with multiple layers of PB's EX-P and also tried the P21S over that and ultimately, the products that made me the most happy were Zaino.

I even tried to top the Zaino with P21S and Souveran but it was the pure Zaino that did it for me on silver. Multiple layers of Z2 just made it pop to my eye.

I just got rid of that car but I would love to have tried the Werketatt products,Prime followed by Acrylic Jet. I am awaiting those to try on my Titanium Grey car which does look nice now with AIO,PB's EX-Px2 and P21S but I want a bit of a change.

Let us know what you choose!

just detailed my mother-in-law's '03 Camry in Silver. I used the following and it looked stunning:

TOL Bubble Bath

OptiClay

Optimum 50/50 (Polish/ Compound)- Orange LC Cut Pad

ZPc- White LC Polish Pad

Z2 Pro x3

Z8

My father-in-law just called me and he was basically speechless. It looked perfect and better than it did new three years agp.

hey thunder79,

congrats on your wife's new purchase, my dad just purchased one last week in the same color (got the LE)! talk about re-inventing.... :up

^ If his car is an '07 though I doubt it needs a polishing compound, if his wife just got it I'd hope that the paint is in perfect condition. Anyhow, I have a Galaxy Silver car, I use Sonus SFX-3 topped with Meguiars Gold Class, I couldn't be happier.
